About service

Cosmetic physicians at Expert Clinics perform precise corrections of lip volume while preserving each patient’s individuality.
Beautiful, plump lips give the face a special charm and can even make it look younger. At Expert Clinics, physicians delicately adjust lip volume while maintaining natural proportions. Their arsenal includes proven injection techniques that enhance lip shape, such as lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid.

How the lip correction procedure is performed
The lip correction procedure must be carried out exclusively in sterile clinical conditions by a qualified physician. This eliminates the risk of unpredictable outcomes or complications such as allergic reactions.

The first and most important stage is a consultation with a specialist, who determines whether the patient has contraindications for lip contouring. The physician also selects the most appropriate filler for the case.

Next, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area, and the filler gel is injected with a fine needle according to a specific technique. The physician then distributes the product manually by massaging the treated area. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.

Fillers used for lip contouring
At Expert Clinics, lip augmentation is performed with scientifically proven and clinically validated products. We work only with certified, reliable manufacturers, ensuring high quality and safety.

Lip contouring at our Moscow clinic is carried out with the following fillers:

Teosyal Kiss. A Swiss hyaluronic acid–based filler that restores lip contour, increases volume, and provides a natural effect.
Composition: 25 mg/ml hyaluronic acid, 0.3% lidocaine.

Juvederm. Available in different densities, allowing the correction of various aesthetic concerns.
Composition: 24 mg/ml hyaluronic acid, 0.3 mg/ml lidocaine.

Neauvia. An “intelligent” organic filler considered among the safest on the market.
Composition: 26 mg/ml hyaluronic acid, PEG crosslinking agent, calcium hydroxyapatite 1%.

Belotero. A German filler widely used in aesthetic medicine for lip correction. Highly biocompatible and providing long-lasting results.
Composition: 26 mg/ml hyaluronic acid, phosphate buffer solution pH 7.

Indications for lip augmentation
In addition to the natural desire to improve appearance, there are several clinical reasons to undergo lip correction:

congenital or trauma-related asymmetry (injections restore volume where needed),

excessively thin lips (fillers make them plump and attractive),

perioral wrinkles, drooping corners of the mouth, and skin laxity (hyaluronic acid–based fillers effectively correct these age-related changes).

Contraindications for lip contouring
As with any cosmetic procedure, contraindications must be considered. Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite should be postponed or avoided in the following cases:

hypersensitivity to filler components,

dermatitis and other skin diseases,

inflammation or lesions on or near the lips,

influenza and acute respiratory viral infections,

hypersensitive skin,

tendency to scar formation,

autoimmune diseases,

diabetes mellitus,

coagulation disorders,

pregnancy and lactation,

menstruation,

herpes infection,

oncological diseases,

epilepsy,

presence of permanent synthetic fillers in the lips.

Additionally, certain fillers are not recommended before the age of 35.

Preparation
Before the procedure, physicians recommend several measures to ensure effectiveness and safety:

The patient must be in good general health without signs of infection,

A blood test for coagulation should be performed. Patients taking anticoagulants must discuss this with their physician,

On the day of the procedure, refrain from smoking and alcohol consumption.
