About service

This relatively new technique has already gained popularity among both physicians and patients due to its low invasiveness and good results.
Any changes in the body affect the condition of the hair. Stress, lack of sleep, nutritional deficiencies, as well as hormonal imbalances, may cause the hair to become brittle, sparse, or even begin to fall out rapidly. How to achieve healthy, voluminous hair if many methods have been tried but the results are still unconvincing? Mesotherapy for the scalp addresses a whole range of issues.

Essence of the mesotherapy method
The principle of this technique lies in the injection of components into the scalp that nourish the hair follicle and promote its development.

There are two methods of performing hair mesotherapy sessions: the injection method (using a traditional syringe) and the fractional method (using a mesotherapy gun or injector pen). The latter is considered less traumatic, and the painful sensations during the procedure are minimal. Moreover, it is more suitable for treating not the entire scalp surface but specific problem areas.

Microinjections allow targeted delivery of nutrients directly to the hair follicle. Due to the injections, microtraumatization of the skin occurs precisely at the level where the “germinal cells” of the hair follicle are located. The injections of active ingredients stimulate and accelerate the hair growth process.

Preparations for hair mesotherapy
The composition of mesotherapy “cocktails” is selected individually, depending on the issues to be addressed by the cosmetologist or trichologist.

Most frequently, the ingredients include zinc, selenium, copper, magnesium, vitamins, collagen, minerals, coenzyme Q10, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and enzymes — all of which are highly beneficial substances.

Conditionally, mesotherapy preparations can be divided into several groups:

Cocktails with vitamins and amino acids. For example, these are used in mesotherapy for hair loss. The procedure is performed subcutaneously with an interval of 1–2 cm. Vitamin-enriched compositions also help restore hair structure.

Preparations with peptides and growth factors. These are also injected and initiate a cascade of reactions in the hair bulb, stimulating cell division. As a result, hair becomes thicker and grows more intensively. Such cocktails are effective, for instance, at the early stages of alopecia or as part of its complex treatment.

Complex ready-made formulations, in which various active ingredients are balanced for injection.

Indications for the procedure
Mesotherapy of the scalp is suitable for both women and men, as this injection technique can be effective in various cases. In particular, it is recommended to address the following problems:

intense hair loss,

excessive dryness and brittleness,

alopecia,

scalp itching,

dandruff,

seborrheic dermatitis,

hair damage caused by coloring, thermal and chemical exposure, or postpartum changes,

split ends,

premature graying,

slow hair growth,

preparation of the scalp for hair transplantation.

Contraindications
Like any cosmetic intervention, mesotherapy has some contraindications:

allergy to components of the mesotherapy cocktail,

pregnancy and lactation,

menstruation,

blood coagulation disorders,

inflammatory processes on the scalp,

oncological diseases,

hormonal disorders,

psychiatric disorders.

It is important to undergo mesotherapy sessions in a clinic where all aseptic requirements are observed. Since the procedure is invasive, it must be performed under sterile conditions. This ensures the avoidance of complications and provides the expected results.

Advantages of scalp mesotherapy
The procedure has several advantages: it can be applied at different ages, is minimally invasive, and can be combined with other methods of scalp treatment.

Special formulations, individually selected for each case, are delivered directly to the hair follicle, improving its microcirculation and stimulating more intensive hair growth.

Thus, mesotherapy cocktails injected into the scalp can simultaneously solve several problems:

hair loss becomes less intense or stops completely,

treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis,

elimination of itching,

increase in the number and thickness of hairs,

acceleration of hair growth,

normalization of sebaceous gland function,

hair becomes more hydrated, manageable, shiny, and voluminous.

The first improvements may be noticeable after 1–2 sessions: reduced greasiness of the hair, disappearance of itching and flaking. However, this is not sufficient to achieve significant changes.

The optimal approach is a course of several procedures (as prescribed by a physician) at intervals of 7 days. The doctor determines the best mesotherapy regimen for the scalp, depending on the severity of the problem. The total cost of the course will also depend on this.
