About service
It is a minimally invasive injection technique involving the administration of special products — fillers. These agents improve facial contours, restore a youthful appearance, and reduce wrinkles and folds.
Fillers for contouring
Fillers are gel-like substances based on hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite used for rejuvenation. They effectively correct wrinkles and the consequences of ptosis (sagging of facial soft tissues). Fillers are injected into the cheekbones, nasolabial folds, glabellar lines, as well as under the eyes, at the corners of the mouth, and in other problematic areas.
All products undergo mandatory certification and testing before entering the international market.
At Expert Clinics in Moscow, only clinically proven and safe fillers are used:
Juvederm (USA) — contains safe hyaluronic acid and phosphate buffer, which has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces the risk of complications.
Belotero (Germany) — a homogeneous hyaluronic acid–based gel that distributes evenly under the skin and provides long-lasting results.
Neauvia (Italy) — a line of organic fillers made from natural ingredients.
Radiesse (Germany) — contains calcium hydroxyapatite, which provides a more prolonged effect compared with hyaluronic acid.
Preslifting 10 (A Swiss Group) — a new-generation long-acting filler containing high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, manganese chloride, and cysteine. It is ideal for use before or after contouring to significantly extend results.
The clinic’s physicians regularly undergo advanced training, including abroad, and select the optimal filler and dosage for each patient.
Treatment areas
Fillers, being relatively affordable, allow quick correction of facial features, improving harmony and effectively addressing age-related changes.
Facial contouring helps improve the following areas:
lips,
cheekbones,
facial oval,
eyelids,
forehead,
nasolabial folds,
nose.
This method can be applied not only for contour correction but also for non-surgical rhinoplasty.
Indications for contouring
In just a few minutes, gel injections can restore lost volume and recreate the “youthful parameters” of the face. In addition, they hydrate the skin and stimulate metabolic activity.
Indications include:
expression lines and age-related wrinkles,
deep nasolabial folds,
double chin,
sagging facial contour,
jowls due to gravitational ptosis,
poorly defined cheekbones,
dark circles, wrinkles, and bags under the eyes,
eyelid changes,
pronounced tear trough,
glabellar folds,
facial asymmetry (e.g., lips),
drooping corners of the mouth,
thin lips,
acne scars,
fine wrinkles on the neck and décolleté,
prominent veins on the hands,
scars,
prevention of age-related changes,
dorsal nasal hump.
Contour plastic surgery can also be applied in many other cases, such as intimate contouring or earlobe correction. Fillers may also be used to augment the cheekbones and chin. The decision is made individually by the cosmetic physician after a detailed consultation.
Contraindications
Contraindications to filler injections are similar to those for most cosmetic procedures.
They should be avoided in the following cases:
pregnancy and breastfeeding,
autoimmune diseases,
coagulation disorders,
exacerbation of skin and connective tissue diseases,
acute inflammation in the treatment areas,
exacerbation of chronic illnesses, ARI, ARVI.
Patients must inform the physician about any health issues on the day of the planned procedure.
Procedure steps
First, the physician ensures the absence of contraindications. Then, the face is examined to determine correction zones. The skin is cleansed of makeup and impurities, and a topical anesthetic cream is applied. Once effective, fillers are injected with a fine needle according to a specific scheme.
The procedure is relatively quick, averaging 30 minutes, depending on the number of injections.
Benefits and results
Contour plastic procedures with hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite are performed in a single session. In addition to their aesthetic effects, injections:
hydrate the skin,
stimulate elastin and collagen synthesis,
accelerate skin regeneration.
The effect is visible within a few days, with final results achieved in about one week.
The outcome lasts for 18–22 months, depending on the patient’s individual characteristics, lifestyle, and filler density (the denser the filler, the longer it remains).
Recovery usually lasts 2–7 days, during which bruising and swelling may occur as a natural tissue response to injections. In such cases, physicians may prescribe special medications to speed up recovery.
